Where the deep sea dissolves into a field of stars.
Abyss is not a vessel of mere utility, but of vision.
Its classic bowl form conceals a gently contoured inner wall, where the curvature deepens toward the midsection, allowing light to settle and echo through layers of midnight, teal, and cobalt—tones drawn from the deepest oceans, yet scattered with constellations that belong to the night sky.
The crystalline oil spots are dense and unrepeatable, forming galaxies of turquoise and silver that shift with every angle. In daylight, the cup holds the calm weight of the sea; under lamplight, it reveals itself as a starry firmament—two worlds contained within a single rim.
Such transformation cannot be engineered; it is fire’s ungovernable gift.
Each firing yields subtle variations in depth and reflection, ensuring that no two Abyss pieces are ever alike.
Handmade in Shuiji Town, Jianyang, Fujian, with local iron-rich clay and naturally iron-bearing mineral glaze.
