This Firmament Jian Zhan features TPK’s exclusive Firmament glaze, fired in the dragon kiln using a traditional constricted-mouth form.
Oil-spot development in long wood-fired dragon kilns is highly unstable, and only about one in ten Firmament pieces attains this level of refinement.
Its surface reflects a rare moment when flame, atmosphere, and iron reached equilibrium—an effect that cannot be deliberately repeated.
Handmade in Shuiji Town, Jianyang, Fujian, with local iron-rich clay and naturally iron-bearing mineral glaze.
