A rare hare’s-fur variant shaped by precise wood-fire balance.
Fired in the Skyward Dragon Kiln, this Hare’s Fur cup displays fine, flame-drawn streaks across a dark, iron-rich glaze. The surface shows subtle tonal shifts under different lighting, accompanied by mineral flecks formed at peak temperature. As a rarer variant of hare’s-fur—significantly less common to achieve than the standard amber-toned type—it reflects the narrow firing window required for this effect. A singular expression of wood-fire atmosphere and refined kiln control.
Handmade in Shuiji Town, Jianyang, Fujian, with local iron-rich clay and naturally iron-bearing mineral glaze.
