A high-temperature gray shell glaze with natural crackle, stabilized through burial aging and controlled tea infusion.

Inspired by Song dynasty rustic Jian ware, this piece is fired in a Skyward Dragon Kiln (wood-fired) and glazed using the traditional Song “dangyou” (suspension glazing) method, then refined through burial aging and tea infusion. These stages help stabilize the glaze structure and bring the surface closer to the material state of long-used historical pieces.

Handmade in Shuiji Town, Jianyang, Fujian, using local iron-rich clay and naturally iron-bearing mineral glaze.
